Tolu-vaega AC Synchronous Generator

The generator is an AC synchronous generator that is driven by a water turbine and converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.
It uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.

The generator capacity ranges from 50kW to 120,000kW, and has the ability to produce a single machine capacity of 200,000kW. The maximum generator frame size can reach 9200mm, the maximum speed of the vertical unit can reach 750r/min, the maximum speed of the horizontal machine can reach 1000r/min, and the insulation level is Class F, the maximum voltage of the coil coil is 13.8kV.

The generator has three classification:

1. DC generator/alternator;
2. Synchronous generator/asynchronous generator;
3. Single-phase generator/three-phase generator.

The three-phase AC synchronous generators are mainly used in hydroelectric power stations.
Three-phase AC synchronous generators are divided into horizontal and vertical types according to the layout of the shaft.
